Lee Calhoun: day 2

Got things started at 9am with Javelin. Realized I forgot my 16-35 and second body so I had to drive back to my dorm and get that. Still had plenty of time to shoot though. Pretty nice day for a track meet. Sun was a little harsh so I just had to work around it. All in all, had a good time shooting and pretty happy with the pics but like always, they could be better. I'll keep working at it.

Foul behaviour

Quick story: I was covering the WIU vs. Coe College baseball game on Wednesday, April, 8th and a foul ball went through this guy's rear windshield. I kinda felt bad for the guy at first but then he decided to flip me off when he saw me shooting.

Nice light

Busy day today. Or guess I should say afternoon. Mostly covered baseball, some softball and the ANNIE play. No ANNIE pics.

Memorial Service

Just headed over to a memorial service today. Wasn't really expecting any crazy pics but was still hoping for something so I went with the writer anyways. The pics weren't that great. Probably end up running one of them unveiling the plaque instead of any of these. Plus that third one looks a little awkward. Eh, it happens.

Myers lost his battle with cancer in August 20, 2008. He became an Honorary Trooper by then Governor Jim Edgar in 1997 because of his support of the Illinois State Police and District 14 in Macomb.
